Have you had your 90 day update letter yet? thanks

No not yet - I've been following the British Expat forums trying to get some idea of when it's likely to come - How about you?

not received anything yet. We are hoping it will be in the next few months.
I have seen some August 2005 Aors that have received letters on british expats.
That is as much info as I can find. BE has gone quiet recently. i am guessing they are doing these update letters in batches.
then again i could be wrong. thanks for the response

Hi DCuz99 - No still patiently(?) watching the postie each morning, then swearing when he walks past the house.
Even knowing that the CHC has it's own "special" timeframe for each application doesn't make it easier when people who applied after us have started to receive their 90 day letters before us!
Whinge over - maybe tomorrow?
Best of Luck

Your 90 day letters is delayed, you have to send aquiry to CIC London, or order CAIPS

Hi AJIRM

I couldn't believe what I was reading when I checked my Trackitt case. I had purposefully been trying to stop regularly checking for application news and look what I missed!!!

I am so pleased that you have finally received your update request. I sent my email today so hopefully I won't be too far behind. This is definately great news. I am now as excited as you.

Hopefully they'll be as quick replying to your email as they were to mine. The race is on now to get the info back in ASAP.

If you don't receive a reply, PM me on the BE Forum (I'm just IRM on there!!) and i'll send you a copy of what they sent me

All the best

Hi AJIRM,

It does seem mighty strange that we both got left behind but now things are moving I just can't seem to think straight.

The race is on.

Happy collating, DCuz99

Hi AJIRM,
My AOR is 24Aug 2005 and i was watching all the cases on this forum for a while. I have emailed And faxed the CIC in dec and Jan asking why i have not yet received the 90day update letter , but have not received a reply till now, apart from one in dec to which said that they have not begun work on my case and will get the letter three months before the start. But I am seeing a lot of people with AOR in Sep and Oct also getting there letters so i am a bit worried. If u can send me the format of the letter u used to contact them when u were in the same situation and the response they gave.....it would be helpful.....my mail id is [email protected].

Extremely belated new year wishes, AJIRM
I have been busily gatering my docs together and I am pleased to say that I sent them off today. I'm so glad to have received my AI as it helped me focus on areas that need more evidence. Although their scoring does not match my expectations, I'm hoping that my docs will sort that problem out. Was your AI as expected?
Well I can now breathe a sigh of relief because this should be the last bunch of forms I need to fill in (for this phase of the application anyway). Here's to hoping that 2008 will be our year.
Take care, DCuz99

Hi AJIRM,

Apologies, I was referring to IA (initial assessment) above. Just in case you were wondering what I was going on about.

DCuz99,

Did you get your 'IA' as a letter from CHC London giving you the points they allocated? Does everyone get this letter?

Hi there - could you tell me what's involved in the 'Initial Assessment'?
Cheers!

Hi Ajirm

does it mean that a immigration officer has seen the file when u get a letter stating that a initial review has been done, coz i received a letter on 5th feb 2008 asking for updated funds and proof of liquid funds and not the land in india which i showed initially when i applied in aug2005. Does it mean they have done the scoring on the file and if we order a CAIPS we will be able to know the points awarded..
thanks

I couldn't believe it; rain, hail, thunder, lightning. Must admit I didn't really care though, just happy to be there.

Need to sell house and find a job so not quite sure when we'll get out there. Got a couple of people viewing the house tomorrow so fingers crossed.
