nomad_musafir,
Can you tell me who's charging $265 in NJ? Is it included FedEx and X-ray charges?

@musafir,
could you tell me how long DC Indian Embassy took to issue a PCC in your case?

@musafir,
Did you also submit "Two proofs of residential address of the applicant, which may include current Driving License, Utility Bill, rent lease agreement showing the residential address." while requesting PCC from DC Embassy?

i got my medicals done yesterday. i started calling all the dmp's in order of driving distance from NC, and they were all very expensive. finally, i found dr. weiss in NJ and they charge $300 total. the receptionist was highly professional and helpful on the phone, and also in person at the facility. i called on thursday and they were able to get appointment for monday. dr. weiss is a jovial and friendly dr. he has been doing medicals for immigration for 12 years now. i saw boxes labeled us immi, canada immi, australia immigration. the x-ray place was not too far from the dr's office. the entire process took less than 2 hours. i am very satisfied with my experience. i highly recommend them.

cool.

I called them many times but I didn't get them on phone. I missed to meet Dr Weiss.

How are they going to mail ur reports to ottawa? USPS or FedEx?

FedEx. They said to call back in 7-10 days and they will give me the tracking number.

16 Jun 2009 #17
No, I did NOT miss them.
The Receptionist told me :

300
1-1 1/2-hrs
10working days
Fedex extra : 55
x-ray: included

I think they told me they send the results thru USPS. Thats why I didn't go there.

Thats why all the way I went to Baltimore..Anyway my medicals also reached ottawa on 05/22/09 and they update my eCas with "Medicals results have been received" yesterday. So no worries unless they ask me to take some more tests...I told the doctor all my hospitalizations last 6-7 yrs. 2 times in last year...other than that they sent me a copy of test results..so looks fine..no contamination in my blood..no more serious problems for main parts in my body..thats good...

16 Jun 2009 #26

Hi No mad / All,

Quick question..I also applied for provincial nominee and i may not be doing my landing in alberta so does that affects my case by any chance. Also do i need to live in alberta for some time so that my pr remains valid...

next question would be that Alberta officials sent a paper along with the nomination where we have to updatyte them once we receive the PR. so my question is have you guys done that and how it affects the case if i am not planning to to live or land in alberta. thanks for your help
