chow: no documents were requested....

shoc: no i had sent in the RPRF (with second set of PCC) on my own after medicals were done.....couldnt wait for CHC to send the request.....

chow: no i had applied for a second set of original PCC in march as i new PCC expire after 3 months or so and from reading different forums it seemed that if file is transferred to satelite CHC, after meds CHC tendS 2 ask for new (original not copies of old PCC)..... so i just sent in the RPRF and new PCC to CHC-NY on my own.....

razbeen,
thank you for your information. Why didn't they give the visa on the same day? Some got on the day. some have to drop off and pick it up next thursday.
Do you have any idea that we can drop the passport there and request the passport return in mail(post) if we don't get the visa stamped on the passport on the same day?

razbeen,

I'd appreciate your reply to the question that Chow asked. We were planning to fly to the consulates thinking that they will stamp the visa the same day...

@razbeen,
When you visit the visa office this Thursday, if possible, Can you ask the visa office officer whether they have return the passport in mail option(paying the fee for USPS expressmail) and within how many days they dispatch it?

I sent my CIC application in March 2009 and recieved medical request in June 2009 . When I submit my application at CIC in March 2009 the PCC from States in US are already more than 3 months that is the PCC were given in the month of Oct 2008. CIC has not mentioned about the PPCs so far. Will it be better to get a new PCC and send it to CIC in advance to avoid delays ? What is the chance that CIC will ask to send new PCC due to PCC being expired at the time of submitting the application ? Thanks for Help .

Regards
Mani
