Is your file in Buffalo or transferred to some local CIC ? Are you based in USA?

My file is still in buff. Yup based in US.

Did you get the Initial Assessment from Buffalo ?? What documents did they request ?

Yes the initial assessment was from Buff. They had requested the State Police Certificates from all U.S states where you have resided more than 6 months.

I recevied the same request for state police certificate but it doesn't say about initial assessment? I thought initial assessment is when you were asked to apply for AINP after initial application.

I am just writing to see if ur Ecas still says`` in process``? What about ur medical? did u check if it is in buffalo now or not yet?

Faiz, as far as I know they mention it in the letter requesting state police certs that your init.assmnt is ok but correct me if I am wrong.

Lebcan, Ecas still says "in process". Since they have requested the security clearance that may mean my meds are fine.

I will check back again but i think initial assessment was when they assess that are you eligible to apply under any scheme requirements e.g. you have enough points or you fall under certain ctagory. That is what I understood. In our case AINP did initial assessment.

How do you know they received your medical? I am just curious.

For the medicals I called the medical center where I had the tests done to check if the Ottawa office had received the results.
Also CIC had sent a document request letter with a long list of documents. They had only checked the police certs in the docs list for my case.
So i assume the medicals were received by them.

have you ever tried to contact them.I heard that it is taking around 6 months after medicals done In buffalo.What do you think?
