No,... not yet.
Got an e-mail from them stating that the wait time is upto 30 weeks.

Hi Aprad. That is pure BS. Last year all AORs were estimated to be delivered in a period of 2 -3 months. Man, they said 30 weeks !!! what is the certificate expires and they send you the application back for a missing document. The global recession has created the sluggish immigration process even more slow.

Good luck man. I applied a month later than you so I guess I should wait for your status to be changed first.

The certificate is valid for 6 months , but i guess as long as we have applied to cic within that period it should be OK.

Yes, 30 weeks just to get acknowledge letters is a long frustrating wait..

Also, after medicals ,it takes atleast 8 months during which they may request for State backgrounds checks also.
Sigh !!!

So, it did take about 7 months after sending medicals. Well, congrats, atleast you can see the light.

Can you tell us about the landing procedures ? Did you have to go through some questions that you prepared answers for immigration officer?
