If anybody's interested I've put together an excel file tracking timelines. The most interesting metric is comparing biometric submission dates to final decision dates. The average has been steadinly declining since it peaked in March at around 35 days. In the last month it's averaged 23 days.

Yes, I am neurotic like that.

Why can't they just add a new column called Biometric Submission Date to this 'tracker' and people can capture biometric date against that instead of commenting in the notes. Then, trends can be identified.

a little odd that there has been no approvals on Trackkit since July 13th. Today is the 18th. this is getting more and more ridiculous by the day.

@AMTier1GenExt: I've asked them to add such a column. They responded quickly looking for some additional info, so they may well add it.
@misty86: I suspect there's a postal delay adding to all our pain. I haven't had any post to my house all week -- including the usual pleas from Virgin to sign up for their TV service.
@Chinan: From what I can see, they're 58% of the way through the approvals from people who submitted bios the same week we did. The two week moving average is up over 30 days now (from biometric submission).

Hope you get the approval this week Sarscan (been checking with Gareth too hehe). If you provided a return envelop with track-and-trace you could check on the post office site? I have this so will check its status next month. :)

Hi,

Mine is kind of peculiar case, I have applied with 1 dependant. I have given my biometrics on the 27th June and my dependant on the 10th July (as her initial biometric letter didn’t scan at the post office, so UKBA had to send one again).

So what would be the biometric date for my application Will it be 27th June or the 10th July? (need inputs from you guys as the case workers deal with applications based on the bio metric dates) How will the case worker look at it?

Also i need to travel on the 4th August sent a complaint email with my travel plans, but no response on that yet. Will they really consider these things?

Has any one experienced like this?

Many Thanks
