Application was denied since I forgot to include the police registration certificate. This is despite that I had sent it as an additional document one week ago. I have proof of delivery. Should I appeal?

If you still have time on your old visa. I guess making a fresh application should be the best approach. However you will lose your fees you paid in this case.

Because it says so in the guidance notes.

I have another two months, but I was planning to go on a holiday soon. Guess will have to apply in person.

BTW, my money has been refunded as of yesterday, probably because I had sent the document before they looked at my application.
Looks like I got lucky.
