Discuss mohanmoni's Tier 1 (General) USCIS Case

I sent an email to vfs asking for the update but the reply i got was as below:

With regard to your query, we would like to keep you informed that your visa application has been forwarded to High Commission and it is still under process.



The processing time for a Tier 1 General visa is up to 15 working days. However, the discretion to grant a visa lies with British High Commission and the processing time can be shorter or longer based on your application, at the discretion of British High Commission.



Please note your visa application will be processed and decided by UK visas staff. Neither VFS, nor any of our staff, play any part in or influence the outcome of your visa application.





We request you to keep a track on your application status through our website or the Help line number mentioned below.

I guess there isnt anything that the vfs guys can help us with. Lets hope for the best and just wait for a response from BHC

i applied in delhi VFS office on 16th Septemeber....what about u

i came across a post on orkut where a guy mentioned that his integra was done on 8th and got the visa on 20th October......strange.....as I am not sure how he came to know that integra was done on 8th October..... no one gets a call from BHC or an update i guess.... do we?

I've sent a reply lets see what he's got to say about this :)

yaar dekh tension toh hoti hai isliye ye nahi kahonga ki tension mat le....but ye soch abhi mera result nahi pata chala....it would be declared once i get the passport and see the stamp in it....VFS waalon ne mention nahi kiya ki lag gaya hai.....but yaar agar mera lagaa hai toh tumhare bhi lagega, its just a matter of some days....waise bhi tumhare points bhi mujhse zyada hai....abhi 2 -3 din chutti hai warna tumhara bhi aa hi jaata....niways wishing you a prosperous diwali and hope it brings the GOOD NEWS that you are looking for....

one more thing that i forgot to mention....do make it a point to check the VFS site after 7 PM everyday....thats the time when it gets updated (4pm-7pm)... that worked for me :)

I had applied from Bangalore, Normally it takes 60 days and i got the HSMP approval with in 45 days... probably you can try after 9th there will be some good news for you....
