We had our interview this morning. It went very well. They just asked for my tax returns, copy of my children's birth certificates, marriage contract and EVL. The IO then took our fingerprints and had us sign the cards that they will be using for our GC. He then checked the visa availability and our PD and since we are current and our background check are done, he approved our application on the spot. He gave us a letter congratulating us in becoming permanent residents and that we will be getting our cards in 2 to 3 weeks. The IO was very nice and professional and also told us that once we get our cards, we would need to get our SSN cards updated as well. I was actually speechless when he told us that he will be approving us today. After being here for almost 12 years and waited for almost 7 years to finish the whole GC process, I still can't believe it. Thank you everyone on this forum for all your valuable information and help. I will continue to pray for everyone that you get your GC soon. Just hang in there, it will come.

Congratulations Kabayan, at least you are FREE now. Anyway, from which year did they ask for your Tax returns? Maybe they found out that you've waited for a very long time (since 2001), I am almost there to that time (mine since 2002). Hopefully I will get my green soon.
