Discuss someguy's PERM USCIS Case

Hi Buddy,

i applied my labour on 7th oct 2008 and its still in process status same like you no audit nothin, got fed up waiting my attorney says he sent them a letter and also emailed them but no reply, did your attorney do any thing to contact them what r they saying.

is there any thing we can do, can you please tell me about your case.

Hey, My Attorney didn't do anything, they just say there is nothing that can be done to follow-up at this stage.

I am in my 6th year and have to apply for extension soon. Hopefully i get an update, good luck with your case.

same thing with me too man i applied for my 7th year ext last week, keep in touch

hey r u consulting or you on full time, i am consulting though not on bench even a month from last two years they are scrutinizing even h1 ext . is your attorney saying any thing about applying for another labour.

I applied with my masters in U.K with 5 years experience, may i know how you applied cause i observed all the people with u.s masters got approved.

I am in consulting too, not full-time. I did my masters here in US.

My Attorney doesn't talk about another labour, since extn will be a problem if we do so. They just say, sometimes it happens like this and cannot guarantee first come first serve :(

Your case is not audited and still taking this LONG ? This is ridiculous !.
Anyways i hope it will be certified VERY SOON.. you said you are in your sixth year right ??
I'm in the same boat and my PERM IS PENDING.. Do you have a backup plans JUST IN CASE IF
this does not get CERTIFIED ? I Mean have you tried approaching any other employer who would be
interested in filing new PERM ?

well, no backup plans actually. Since this is already my second attempt, my first GC was in non-perm which didn't come through. Will be applying for one year extn soon, based on the pending labour.

My Employer still hesitates to send an individual email to DOL, asking for update.

I noticed people who applied in Sep 2008 audit cases, started seeing some responses from DOL. Hopefully i will know soon too.
