Same here. Mine was transferred twice. First time it said 'It is now transferred to another USCIS Center and they have jurisdiction ...' The very next day it said 'It is now transferred to your local USCIS and they now have the jurisdiction' and the very next day again it said 'Your case has been transferred and is now with a uscis center' .... Really wondering whats going on :-)

skunny - Well, you are right. same happened with me. But not sure for which center it was transferred, might be to california center.

Hi KVDP - Did you get 2 updates i mean did you get a status where it said 'Transferred to your local USCIS' ???? I have heard this happen only to those candidates whom USCIS would like to have a personal interview and that happens for mostly Green Card petitions. I have not heard this happen to any H1 B extension Petitions so just curious what it is all about.

1st update- On January 16, 2014, we transferred this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

2nd Update -- On January 16, 2014, we transferred your I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Got another update about the transfer today. Not sure whats going on..

The I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending
