Did u get receipt number for ur case? My application reached USCIS VSC center on 2nd Feb but no receipt notice has been received yet.....

I have not received receipt number either though it reached USCIS on 3rd Feb 2015 itself. I am checking with my HR in this regard. I will let you know once I get his response.

I got the receipt number today and it starts with WAC and being processed in California. Its strange because the application was sent to Vermont and reached there on 2nd. Looks like it was forwarded to California by USCIS.

If you look at the tracking data, the California seem to have better processing rate, and vermont is slow (closures due to winter storms may be). I am guessing they are doing some internal load balancing.
