No updates so far. I have collected all pending petitions filed on Dec 8th and Dec 9th and none of them got approved in the past 3 days. I don't know what the heck is going on in Vermont and why there is such a huge delay.

life2010,
Did you receive the approval alert on 2/25? I am just trying to find if there is any delay in updating the status and case approval. Mine was filed on 12/11. Unable to renew my DMV license here in VA.

I came to know a week later via online status. You may have sent ur appliation on dec 11 but your cruel receipt date from uscis will be 1 or 2 weeks later. For example I sent my application in last week of November but receipt date is dec 8

Also to renew te license, go to dmv and tell them to do second save verification. You will get a letter from dmv in mail stating you are eligible resident. Based on this letter, you should be able to renew license upto 240 days. That's what I did in Texas. Takes about 2-3 weeks from save verification to getting the letter

Hope this helps

I was able to extend my driver's licence for 9 months with the H1B extension receipt last month. Did you try that?

@life10 You mean you did not receive the email and mobile alerts soon after the petition was approved? Or you did not get them at all?

The dmv works in two step verification: they first try to verify your eligibility on computer based on your receipt. If that is positive they will issue you license. If the first verification fails, they do second verification with SAVE database. In this step you get a letter in mail from dmv headquarters and you take this letter to dmv for renewal.

I never signed up for email or mobile text. Infact my lawyers also did not knew and I had to ask them. I was under impression that lawyers get emails once it's approved.

Thanks life2010 and gsravan,
First of all thanks for quick response.
My case was received by USCIS on 12/12.
My employer never received the I-797 receipt notice. They were able to find the receipt number based on the copy of check which my employer submitted for my extension. I took the copy of USCIS status page but DMV did not entertain that. Hence they did no do any SAVE verification. I tried in 2 different DMVs, it did not work. Thanks for your advice.

Hey... I see in your case it took 103 days, which is looks slower, in my case as well its already past 90 days and yet waiting for an answer. What I want to know, is there anything special like more documents required or something that they take longer time in some case or is it just random..

I think it is just random. This time I think there is an overall delay.
