Did you get the reason for the same ?

My employer is still waiting for the official reason letter. Not sure if he will share with me or not. Word of mouth is such internal transfers happen due to workload distribution at USCIS service centers.

Mine was also transferred on 13th Feb from California SC but not sure why or where. Did you get a reason of transfer.

I have asked my employer to share the reason but dont think will get an answer. Does anyone know why the case will be transferred citing Jurisdiction reasons? Is it a matter of concern ?

I don't think this is matter of concern. When I checked with my employer, I got a response saying such internal transfers are common due to workload balancing, and there is no action need to be taken either by the employee or the employer. It is only a waiting game now.

My h1b amendment which was filed in SEPT' 15 got approved yesterday. RFE was raised and responded in May'16. My co. converted my H1B Extension to PP this week as I am nearing my 240 days period (still 37 days left). No update on USCIS website as to PP conversion.

My employer said they sent to USCIS my application for PP on 28th Feb, But the application was received by NSC on 9th March and they acknowledged it on 10th March. Not sure why there was a delay of 10 days. Keeping my fingers crossed now

Everyone was doing PP but I cant. My company's attorney can't do that because of some company's policy they can do only some limited number of cases in PP.I have question can please anyone tell me my 240 days will complete in 15th july 2017 if my h1b extension pending over 240 days what happened. Its not my fault I filed my extension in august 2016 and my case is transfered Vermont to California on 28th feb but I cant see any updates in my case. What is my action point?

@Titalee Dot worry. My extension approval took 254 days approx. You cant do anything but wait. Mine was filed on 19th July and got approved after 254 days since I upgraded to premium.
Dont worry. You will get approval in couple of weeks

You are allowed to stay upto 240 days after your i94/ visa date expires and your extension is pending.

@Aind you did it in PP that's why it's approved. I saw many regular cases in July 2016 and August 2016 and they didn't get it approved.

For regular its taking approx 260-265 days. Hence you can calculate your time of approval.

If it is not approved after 240 days, will I have to go back to India? This is not fair! It's not my fault I filed on time.

@Titalee - I understand your frustration. I was in the same boat. Had to fight to get my PP done. Our employers have weird policies which affects us as employees. About the 240 day rule, afaik, once the 240 day mark reaches, you can no longer WORK. Which means, you will continue your stay in US, you will be employed, but you just cannot work. Employer should stop your payroll and you need to sit at home. Nobody can force you to go back to India. Kind of, loss of pay. Check out this link: https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/SLB/HTML/SLB/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-11261/0-0-0-28757/0-0-0-29322.html Paragraph 20 (or just search for 240). This federal regulation nowhere mentions deportation back to home country (India in our case).
