Hi, My application reached USCIS on 29-March-2017 but I didnt receive the petition number yet. Any idea why it is taking long time? Anyone filed on same date and got the petition number?
I'm also sailing on same boat. Came to know there is delay in issuing receipts with NSC. Have your cheque got encashed?

mine is also in same case. I got my filing receipt number on 15th day of filing date. How did you get to know your case is approved? Did they sent an email or it is update in USCIS Case Status?
My last update shown is April 11 and and it is shown "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Emailed"
My attorney received electronic receipt in email and original receipt is yet to be received in hand.
