Applied PP for my H1b extension and today received call from my attorney saying USCIS returned my entire package back due to heavy backlog. My visa expires April 20, did anyone face similar issue?

Sorry to hear about your case. Was your Premium application accepted (check en-cashed) and now returned from USCIS?

No I did not receive receipt number at all. We applied PP and I also checked with my HR to see if the check were cashed it wasent. Yesterday my attorney called saying they received the entire package back. Today she is going to apply again in regular processing.

Did your attorney filed all fees (normal+premium) as a single check... that can be only reason to return whole package... otherwise they will return just cheque of premium fees...
