question. so how do you know the case is filed and processed if you do not have physical receipt on hand?
My new company HR told me without PP now they have to wait until they get physical receipt.

you can track fedex packet and check if it was delievred to uscis or not.
Also once your case accepted your check will be encashed. Your new employer should be able to check that for you.

Please check with your attorney whether check got encashed or not.. I see Vermont service center generated receipt number until May 3/4 ,2017(receive date)
Example:
On May 3, 2017, we received your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number EAC171535XXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by June 2, 2017, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283

yeah. I will check that.
I have seen lots of people got their recipts in last 3-4 days. Especially those who ahd their packets delievered between april 10 to 23rd. Looks like they have speed up after data entryfor FY18 was done on may 3rd.

@rrg6832,Yes you are correct...looks like they moved to may ....Receipt notice might be on the way whoever applied on or before april 28.

I don't understand your request. No one has the obligation to check anything for anyone. It's @rrg6832's case and he/she can choose what to do and what not to. Why should he/she check with his/her HR/lawyer to see the check is cashed or not for you?

My comment is not personal to you. I'm annoyed by the overall tone of this forum. A lot of people keep asking questions that are none of your damn business. We are all grateful when people are willing to share their progress to help others have ease at mind. But when people don't share, or don't update their case timely, it's totally fine and no one should act like a crazy ex-girlfriend, aka. post questions EVERYDAY such as "any update?"

no i dint. My lawyer will not typically entertain these questions . they just told meand my new manager to be patient and wait.

Received recipt number from my lawyer today. Did not recieve physical Recipt yet.

Got physical recipt today on 18th May 2017.
receipt number was received from encashed check from lawyer today on 5/12.
According to recipt, case was received on May 1st.

In my case HR is not responding,not sure whats going on.Its been almost 1month that it was filed.

Did you get your approval ?
