Right but i am concerned with that 240 days period I have only 2 months time and if i dont get response by mid of october i have to leave us. Do you know that rule?

No, I am not sure about that rule. Actually as of my understanding once your petition is pending you are in good shape. Please confirm with your company's attorney.

If 240 days period applies, then still you have 60 more days. Most cases we will get update in a week.

I am not aware of the situation, but you will get some options. One door closed, then another door always open. If your first H1B approved since your one time approved you do not count in the cap. Contact your company attorney, he/she can suggest you all available options.
