Are you sure the receipt number is WAC-06-??? 06 is supposed to be the year, if mistaken, please update with the right no.

Thanks,

Is your new employer desi consulting firm? If it how many employees are there ?

Could Please give me these details ASAP?

I have applied for H1b transfer in december 2008 thru xyz desi consulting firm which has around 200 + employees ,it got denied
due to client letter shown as inhouse project.

Sorry to hear of your denial. Yes, my employer is a desi consulting firm with 200+ employees.

The receipt number has nothing to do with the year. My extension was filed in November 08 and the receipt number was EAC-09-XXXX.

vijaypurbhe: your employer probably applied in 09 without you knowing because it is well known that receipt numbers are related to the year applied.

Yes it does(or atleast in the past) USCIS years starts from Oct 1st that's why your receipt no has 09.

My extension was applied on Nov 21 2008 and I received the receipt on Nov 28 2008 so it was applied in 2008 but I guess as Chris said the calender year starts in Oct for USCIS.

Sorry to hear about the denial. Did you applied with vendor letter / all contracts between your company and the client / letter from your employer ? Will appreciate the reply.

nycgc, I didn't really understand your question. I assume to mean to ask if my rfe response included the vendor letter with the end-client - it did not, since my client refused to provide one.

Thanks for the response. I did meant to ask if you replied your rfe with vendor letter / client letter or both. Thanks for answering it.
