Hi warrdil - Any updates on your case?

I think it is too early to expect an action. It should take atleast until mid next week.

mine also same. and today i got my receipt , waiting for the update

I filed H1b , H4, and H4 EAD extension together in premium processing. I got a notice that H1b extension is approved. But there is no news of H4 and H4 EAD. How did you learn about H4/EAD approvals? How much time did it take to get the notice?

1) For h1b - I received a forwarded email notification which she gets as soon as the case was approved from USCIS.
2) I have signed up for an account at https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus and as soon as the H4 and EAD got approved, I received an email alert when the status changed from received to approved.

All 3 email alerts were received within a time span of 1-2 hours. Mind you, have not received the paper receipt notice nor (obviously) the paper approval notices yet. Its just been a week since they received it and I have not checked my letter mails in a couple of days now.

could you please share SOC code and wage level?

Congratualtions!! Any idea, Do we get the H4 EAD card along with the paper approvals? If not, how long does it take to receive the EAD card. I am assuming we cannot start work till we get the EAD card isnt it?

Management -- Level 4 wages.

Card comes separately from the approval I-797s. Typically, takes 1 more week. Can't start work until you receive the card.

@warrdil - Thank you! Got the approvals today and the case status got updated to card mailed. Apparently H4EAD start date is as of approved date while the H4 Start Date is from the H1 Exte Start Date.

@usimmi14 it depends on whether you previously had EAD or not. If you have EAD before, your new EAD will say it starts from the day the current one ends. If not, it starts from the day the approval date. Same with your H4 and H1b when you apply for extension in both cases. The new one starts either
a) as of the current status ending (in case your h4/h1b is currently valid.) OR b) will start as of the approval date in case you are past the validity period.
