Hi Umesh,
What is the process for upgrading to Premium? How easy or difficult is it to upgrade at a later stage. My H1B is applied and my company immigration guys recommended me to file in regular.. so I did.. but I have less than 4 months time..

Its relatively straightforward process and can be done anytime (Either while filing or later on after it is filed). The employer has to pay an additional fee to USCIS for upgrading to premium. My employer also files by default in regular processing only. I had an emergency and hence had to work with my employer to upgrade it to premium.

Cool... Did you file H4 / H4EAD too and did they get approved alongwith the H1B extension?
