Discuss dosaboy123's H-1B USCIS Case

Hi @dosaboy123, would you mind please sharing your first 6 digits of receipt number if it is WAC18230 and if the application was sent on 18th July or it was sent before and received on 18th July as for me it was sent form 12th but received on 17th and receipt was issued on 19th July.

number is 18234 and app was sent to USCIS on 18th by Fedex overnight and they received it on 19th as per DHS tracking website. I still haven't received the receipt but attorney was able to provide me a receipt number because check was encashed by USCIS yesterday and attorney was able to get the number somehow from that.

Did your case history shows something like this as well before RFE and stopped premium processing? “We corrected your name for your case”?

I have H1B with me and it got approved On September 29, 2008. I got stamped as well and expiration date was 01SEP2010. I have not worked with H1B visa at all. Now I wanted to know whether my visa is still valid ? if yes can i do my H1 transfer. Can any one tell me asap, its really very urgent.

Hi @dosaboy123, did you happen to get any RFE details if your lawyer has received? I have not heard anything form my lawyer and they are waiting to get the RFE details.

@liksup, yes my lawyer copied me on emails to my employer yesterday, lawyer didn't explicitly state what was written in the RFE, but they have asked evidence that the position requires a bachelor's degree so I'm assuming its a specialty occupation RFE. They said such RFEs have become very common these days even for perfectly legitimate applications, so its nothing to be alarmed about. Let me know what you hear.

HI @dosaboy123, yeah I have not heard from my lawyer anything yet, but I will keep you posted once I will hear. But I am assuming it may be the same RFE similar to yours as that is what many people are getting now a days.

Hi @dosaboy123, do you happen to know if your lawyer got a fax or mail regarding the RFE or so, as my lawyer has not got anything yet,so just checking as if it will be coming via mail or so, then it might take some time for my lawyer to get it or so.

Hi @dosaboy123, I also got same RFE for specialty occupation like why a bachelor's degree needed etc etc along with payroll details to be submitted.
