Hi, Could you tell me how many days did it take to receive your receipt? I mean, how many days from the date that USCIS received your documents. Please let me know. Thanks so much
It took around 7-8 days to get the receipt after filing.
Thanks. Could you let me know the date that you received the receipt? I'm wondering how many BUSINESS days it takes. Thanks so much!
Case Filed: 10-29-2018
Lawyer Emailed me the receipt: 11-6-2018
Actually, 10-29-2018 is the date when USCIS received my application
Any updates on your application?
No man tired of seeing the same status for months 'Case Was Received'
May be something would come by the end of Feb. Expecting...
Same for me...it’s really getting frustrating to wait and wait
mine was filed on 26th.. My status shows that it was transferred to another office location. does you say the same?
Nopp still 'Case Was Received'
Mine was filled on 25th. Still "Case was Received". Do you see when the case was transfered?
Mine doesn't have any history of getting transferred anywhere.
I think our case is still not transfered. maxyspy case is transfered and case histroy might have the date.
Did you guys check on myaccount.uscis.gov ? It has more up to date information.
People who are getting approvals recently, their cases were not transferred, so it's not necessary that our will be transferred, let's wait and see what happens!
yes. just waiting.... lets hope something good by end of Jan.
@naanusk: I was using https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/displayLogon.do but now made account on https://my.uscis.gov/account too and both show similar updates.
mine was transferred on the 15th. a lot of my friend's cases also got transferred last week. You can call the automated answering phone and it tells you where the application went to. Mine went to Vermont it seems
I would be surprised if phone call would give more updated information than website
you gotta try before you doubt it :)
I called and was not surprised :)
It looks like this may be applicable to us, USCIS is resuming Premium Processing starting Jan 28, 2019 https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-resumes-premium-processing-fiscal-year-2019-h-1b-cap-petitions
Sorry it's not applicable to us, it is for H1-B 2019 cap petitions, I got confused.
Hi Guys, Just went through the thread. I am in the same boat as yours. Case received on October 25, 2018. No other update so far. Nothing about service center transfer as well. Please keep posted if you have any updates. Thanks.
Me too same... Oct 25... and no updates so far... daily tired of checking this... Vermont is getting approvals in 2 weeks.. and we are waiting from 4 months ....
Who are these people who updates there cases got approved in 80 to 110 days for California center ? It is real ? And current waiting time says 9.5 months to 12.5. How true it is ?
I am aware some people did get the approvals sooner than others at CSC center, we are just being unlucky and our patience is being tested.
Anyone on this thread has any information about what might be going on with my case? It's been 111 days and haven't received any updates from USCIS and have seen cases filed after me getting approved/RFEs. Any information is much appreciated.
I am with you. Mine is filed one day before you with WAC19025****. No update so far. I will keep you posted if I get any update. One reason I guess is there cases might have been transferred and got lucky.
On the same page. 115 days and no updates yet..
But applications not getting picked up from a queue sounds bizarre and frustrating!
yes. Its very random and noone knows how they sort it. But lets hope something good in few days.
also just observing that applications with 140 approved are getting response little sooner. If I look at the tracker, it looks like that. But this assumption might be wrong also.
Oh you mean people who have been on H1-B for 6+ years? Yeah I observed it too.
Anyone planning to upgrade to premium ? If not what are your thoughts ? I did premium first time which was denied and filed another petition in regular which I am waiting for result currently. So I am not ready to update to premium.
Looks like my new employer already submitted request to USCIS for premium processing. The new employer is still waiting for me to join for last 3.5 months so I think it is high time to get a decision soon! Have you started working on receipt?
Oh that's cool. Keep us posted about the result. Yes. I have started working on receipt. It's a change of employer for the same client as my existing employer didn't extend the contract with the client. So I don't have any option. Nothing changed for me except the salary :P
My case is also upgraded to premium today without my knowledge. Fingers crossed and will wait for it. Will keep posted about the result.
How do check if the case is converted to premium or not? Is the USCIS status gets u[dated of the case converted to premium?
You can check on your case status. I have signed up on both old site and new site. You can opt for SMS and email alerts as well. As soon as something happens you will get notifications.
It shows an updated status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov
Ok. Thanks. My employer said that they will convert the case into premium on Tuesday, but the status says "Case was received" in both old and new websites. So looks like they still did not submit the premium request yet.
Congrats buddy. To all other people on this thread please do not stop posting your status updates. I don't find any other good thread for general discussion.
my attorney told that my application is upgraded to premium (extension without changes) on February 12. I checked the status on uscis website, but it still shows me that the case for received on X date.
Is there a way to verify that the case was upgraded and if USCIS received that request?
Your attorney should have got a new receipt by now. Ask him if he can provide that. As I know 3 ways to track the status. Old case status site, new myhome.uscis.dhs and automated response on the phone call to USCIS (you can find it on the uscis site.)
Thanks a lot cont86 and srini008 hope you’ll hear some good news soon!
Thanks srini008. I checked all three places and its still telling me the date when it was actually filed (Jan 18) and not the date when PP was filed/received.
I will check with Fragomen if they have the receipt.
Oh Jan 18 2019 ? Then your case is not eligible for premium processing. PP is open only for the case filed before 21st December 2018.
PP is open for extension without any changes. (no job change, no location change etc). It was never closed.
Oh I though your case similar to our transfer cases.
In my case all the website says "Case was received". I dont see any update. I only have the email from Employer says PP will be applied shortly and still looks like they did not apply.
When you add a comment, (1) we will notify the applicant so he/she can respond, and (2) you will begin to watch this case.
