Hi

Mine is a similar case to yours. H1 filed on 21/12/2010.Receipt Number received on 23/12/2010.
RFE asking for employment and job details on 03/01/2011 - case status as 'Request for Evidence' (RFE)
RFE responded back by petitioner on 04/01/2011.
After that the case status is still in 'Request for Evidence' even till today. Did you have the same status till yours got approved? Does petitioner get
any acknowledgement for his response to RFE?

Thanks a lot..can you please respond? it would be helpful

rajpal:

Sorry for the delay in response.

My RFE was because of the missing PERM labor document to show that the PERM was filed prior to one year of completion of 6 yrs of H1. My lawyer received an email from USCIS regarding RFE and he immediately faxed the PERM documents to USCIS on same date. After that it took exactly 1 week to get the approval from USCIS.

I am assuming you should be getting your response within 7-10 days after responding to RFE. Good luck !
