Mrinal,
I did submit a Client letter which is now a absolute must; this is my 7th year extension. For my 6th year extension I did not submit my client letter as the client was not willing to issue one. Then I got a RFE asking for the client letter which I showed it to my client and the they agreed to write a one line client letter and my case was approved. If you are a direct employee and have an approved I-140 expect a 3 year extension; however if you are in a Company -> Vendor -> Client model you may get only 1 year extension even if you have an approved I-140.

- Regards.

Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker (form I-129) filling fees are $325 (see http://www.uscis.gov/i-129 ). Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing is the form used to file Premium for I-129 or I-140 and it costs $1,225 (see http://www.uscis.gov/i-907 ).

Please not I am not a lawyer or anything. I just found these links on the USCIS website. It is best to check with a Immigration Lawyer and/or USCIS regarding appropriate forms and fees.
