Are you sure it is the name check (NC) you are stuck in? I thought NC was only for green card applications. According the HR person who contacted USCIS on the behalf of my employer, my H1B application is stuck in 'Security Check'. I made an InfoPass and the officer told me that my name is NOT on the NC list, and there was no other information he could give me. Does anyone here know if NC and security check are the same?
