Last time (3 months ago), I got approved in 5 days in CA center. Seems like Vermont center is slow.

Not yet ... avg of 10-11 days for Vermont Center after the receipt I guess !!

Congrats sahil838. I am still waiting for updates on my case.It was filed on the same date as your's. How did you got to know about your approval? Did it came up as approved on https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do (or) did you get an automed email or text? Please let me know.

Thanks Guru - I recieved a text around 4:15 am that my case status has been updated. I checked and it said approved.
What are last 2 digits of your case number?

Thanks Sahil838.. The last 2 digits of my case number is 37.. It still shows in "Accepted" state.Do they go by any sequence?

No, I just try to punch some random numbers in sequence to know if it make any sense...You are right, they are not in sequence coz I do see some numbers prior to me are still in Acceptance state. Hopefully, you will get it approved by today.
Also, was your applicated recieved on 6th or 7th? My receipt said 6th but online said 7th.

yea..hope so.. I have the date received as "11/05" in the receipt but online it says "11/06". Thanks for your thoughts sahil838.Appreciate it..

congrats sahil838...Even my receipt said 8th but online it said 9th...I guess there is some problem with the receipt dates....

Guru555 - I believe you should be approved by today or latest by tomorrow. I know this wait feels like never ending :(. Just set up the text alert.

Princi - Thanks - I guess there is some problem with their online system. It shows the wrong receipt date.
For me , initially, it showed the correct date which was 6th and status as Initial Review but later changed to 7th along with the status as Acceptance.
Even this morning, I got a text that my status has been updated, I checked and it showed under POST DECISION ACTIVITY as approved and after couple of hours received another text that my status has been updated, I checked and this time it showed under DECISION as approved.

Thanks for you detailed response. I noted that for Vermont the status does change from Accpetance to Initial review to Post Decision Activity to Decision. But for me its still Acceptance. I guess it will take 2-3 days for me to get it approved. This wait is seriously killing me....but good tat you got it approved...happy for you...

One more questin i had.Are you planning to put down your papers today(or you might have till now!!!) or are you going to wait fo you documents....

I already put down my papers last week. I have to join next Monday at my new job. Things already got delayed due to fedral shut down so couldnt wait any longer. It was a risk but I took it as I had a feeling that it will go thru without RFE.

Yes, Pricni - the wait is longer at Vermont Center. What I see from the tracker is that the average wait time is 11-14 days. You should expect something by Friday.
Last time (3 months ago), I got approved in 5 days at California Center. They seems to be faster and that what I have noticed in the tracker as well. Good Luck. Hope everyone gets approved faster

Pricni - My receipt date was 6th and yours is 8th, so I would expect something by Wed or latest by Friday

One more thing which I noticked --I was randomly punching in the case numbers at USCIS Case Status website and came across a case which was approved on 16th Nov, which was a Saturday.

My case went from Post decision activity to decision. Do you know what happened? is it okay? Did you recieve your approval notice from USCIS? please help me out as I am freaking out.

Hi Zeesh - Sorry for the delayed response. I guess as long as the Decision says that your petition was approved, you are good to go. Yes, I did recieve my approval notice.

Did you receive your approval notice my mail yet? I am waiting for it as need to get visa stamped in India.

Mine was also approved on 18th Nov.
