Hi ... after sending the application, in how many days you received the receipt number?

It took about a week for the receipt to come in mail. But because i had signed up to E-Notification using form G-1145, I came to know of the receipt # on 9/21. FYI, I had sent the application to the Lewisville location.

My spouse's H4 EAD Application. Here are the dates and times of different statuses in the application. Times are based on the email/text receipt time.

09/15/2015 - Mailed out application to the Lewisville location

09/21/15 2:41 pm ET- Got an update via email and text that case has been routed to the Vermont Service Center.

11/11/15 12:32PM ET - Card Production Ordered

11/11/15 10:58pm ET - Case was approved

11/16/15 - Received Approval Notice (I797) in mail

11/18/15 12:30pm ET - Card was mailed on 11/16/15. No USPS tracking # in the status

11/19/2015 - Card received in mail. USCIS status still shows Card was mailed.
