Did you take help from the lawyer to file the concurrent application?

No I did it myself. Ask some questions to the schools international student center. Helped a little but nothing major. If you have any questions, I can help if I had the same issue too. Good luck! :)

Have you received the approvals?

@raddy89 not yet. I'm checking daily. Nothing yet. Will update the second I see anything change. I'm hoping 100-117 day mark it'll get approved seeing the trend here. I called them few weeks back but they said it is within time frame so nothing can be said now.

No I'm not familiar with that process. So I haven't looked into that.

Hi anhan15,

I also filed both h4 and EAD concurrently. And raised SR. Can you please provide details on how SR can be tracked. USCIS customer support suggest not to call them and wait for the email. As that is the only mode of communication.

Hi chithra3383,
We can't track an SR. I got an email saying they got it and someone will get to me but no one did. I went to the local USCIS office but they couldn't do anything, infact they can only see the status page we see. They gave me soke advise as to what options I had but that's about it. the local field office visit didn't do anything. I'm not sure the SR did either because I never heard from the case officer they said they would assign for my case. A few weeks later I got my RFE - for my husbands latest two pay slips. We immediately send them and within a week we got approval. It has been a long wait but yes it's finally here. You could raise an SR after 90 days and see if it goes anywhere since it's a hit or miss case by case I think. Good luck with your case!

@anhan15 Didnt you send the paystubs along with your application initially? or did they raise RFE even if you send the paystubs with your initial application?

We didn't send paystubs initially cause it wasn't asked. we re assuming that even if we had send it we still would have gotten the RFE because they wanted the latest two pay stubs and it had been 4 months since we had applied.

Was your I-765 application in RFE or your I539 application in RFE?

Follow up:
1) If your I-539 application was in RFE, what was the status of the I-765 during the time?

2) If both were in RFE, did you get 2 letters from USCIS asking for evidence?

Thank you very much in advance for a reply. It will help my situation a lot. Both my applications are in RFE (online status) but I have only received the RFE for I539 yet(In postal mail) asking for paystubs. I was wondering if I am to expect additional documentation request on the I765 as well.

Hello warrdil, only I-539 was in RFE. I-765 hadn't changed from "your application is process" (the first status that stays for months till your applications moved to the top of the que). I'm assuming that you will get 2 letters if both are in RFE since they are usually "considered" as two separate applications. If your I-765 RFE documents don't reach you in the next week inspite of your online status saying you should expect their email, I think it would be wise to call USCIS on their customer line to notify that you haven't gotten the document they send. Hopefully they might share what document you it was too - then again I'm not sure how much information the call center has. But definitely notify them that you haven't received it. Send your other RFE ASAP. We send it send it through one day Mail on USPS which we could track each step. I mailed it at 5pm today and it reached by 3 pm the next day. Within a week, they usually approve it if all the documents are fine. Good luck with you application! Let me know if you have any further questions I can help you with from my experience.

Did u reply to RFE yourself? If so did u attest or notarize the supporting docs requested in RFE?

Yes. They wanted proof of employment for the previous three months of my husband since it had been more than three months since we send the application. SO the payment slips weren't current when they were processing. No we didn't have to notarize anything. Good luck! :)
