COS takes about 90 on an average. Did you call USCIS cc and ask for the receipt number?

I received the receipt for EAD but my H1 to H4 COS rejected, reason -form is an outdated, problem was while printing the I539 copy the page footer missed ..they asked to resubmit with new form, submitted and USCIS received date-12/28/2016, waiting to hear soon from USCIS.

I didn't receive the receipt number yet but the I539 application fee has been deducted from my account, waiting for the email/text alert as I submitted G-1145 too.

Here is the detail explanation of my case -

12/05/2016 - Submitted I539 H1 COS H4 and I765 H4 EAD concurrently in a same package and forgot to place G-1145 so no notification received.
12/08/2106 - Phoenix lockbox received date.
12/19/2016 - Amount has been deducted from my account for application fee-I765 only
12/21/2016 - Received the I797 mail copy for I765 application saying accepted
12/21/2016 - Received the I797 mail copy for I539 application saying denied, reason -form is an outdated
12/23/2016 - Refiled I539 application , just used the same form applied earlier with correct printer adjustment
problem was while printing the I539 copy the page footer missed
12/28/2016 -Phoenix lockbox received
1/4/2017 - Application fee is deducted from the account
1/5/2-17 - Email/alert notification received with the receipt details

Yes, I have received the copy in mail on 1/11/2017.

I765 - received date is 12/07/2016 to USCIS
I539- received date is 12/28/2018 to USCIS

Dont know how they process my application and how many days they may take coz my COS APPLICATION is later to my H4 EAD APPLICATION

They would indeed hold the I-765 since it's validity & date depends whether or not your COS is approved. Not much to worry.

Ravi, What was in the rejection letter ? IS the rejection letter necessary to be sent back to USCIS with our new application ?
Long story short - I did file with incorrect fee and your info on the rejection letter would help me determine whether or not to send a new one.

I used an old version of the form that USCIS no longer accept. USCIS mailed my case back to me, including all supporting materials and the payment.they also mentioned that you can resubmit with the rejection letter and they will consider soon.

They will generate a separate receipt once they receive the resubmitted application not sure if they consider that as new received date instead of the first application received date

I got RFE on my I765 stating- approval copy of H4 required but its I539 application H1 COS H4 still pending, as I was always worrying my application processed 3 weeks earlier.

Hmm.. I'm confused how could they RFE it while the COS application is still pending with them. Should we send the I-765 back to them once H4 is approved ? Did you receive two receipt notices ?

now I got RFE on I539, I dont know ...wats happening with my applications.....I am fed up...I dont want to answer RFE , I just want to withdraw and continue on H1..

dude - relax ! what's does your COS RFE say ?

I'd suggest talking to a lawyer to address the RFE instead of withdrawing.
