Discuss chandragk's H4 EAD USCIS Case

Did your h1b approval come through, I am a similar case, same receipt date and service center, h1b, approval came in 8 days, still waiting h4 and EAD extension

@India1124, ours also H-1B got approved in 7 days but waiting for EAD. H-4 not sure as receipt number not received yet. Did you receive H4 receipt number through attorney or it was mailed to you directly?

I received receipt number for both h4 and EAD in my mailbox as a courtesy copy, it was also sent to attorney

When was your h1 and h4 get approved ?

H-1B got approved a week back on 17-Mar, and H-4 EAD today, H-4 extension i am still waiting for receipt number, mostly that also would have approved as EAD got approved.

have you received H4 case number and EAD case number at the same time or there was a time difference in receiving case numbers in mails ? I have received H4 case number but EAD case number is still not yet received even after 16 days.

@banty: we received only H-4 EAD receipt number and still waiting for H-4 receipt. As per attorney right now there is week or two delay for H-4 and H-4 EAD approval after H-1B.

@chandragk.. Did your online status reflect the tracking number BEFORE you received the EAD card? If so, when?

@achillestroy: We have not received the EAD card yet, but first status changed to "new card being produced" and couple of days after to approved.

@chandragk: Did you receive the EAD card yet? Even after "new card being produced". I am stuck with pending H4 & H4EAD. Not sure is it because of the H4EAD case

@raopunit4: Have not received the EAD card, but case status shows approved. I did not receive H-4 receipt number so not sure of its status.

not a single update on EAD case approval in April month. ??

@banty, check these cases. Some had EAD approved recently, while some are waiting for approval (check with them , they might have an updat efor you)

Nebraska is going very slow on H4 and EAD as they are processing premium H1 because of rush. Looks like they are yet to start approving H4/EAD from Feb cases.

Received EAD card. Updated timeline as below:-

03/17/2017: Case approved.

H4 Timeline:-
03/13/2017: Case received.
03/27/2017: Case approved.

H4 EAD Timeline:-
03/14/2017: Case received.
03/24/2017: New card being produced.

03/31/2017: Card mailed.
04/05/2017: EAD card received

Your case gives a hope that Nebraska is processing H4 and EAD cases though very slowly .
