Raised SR, I was kind of doubtful whether the lady on the line did take all my details. Nothinghappened for a week. So called up again and this time it was approved right next day.

Hi,
1. Is this a standalone H4 EAD Application?
2. Did your H4 EAD get approved?
Thanks

Vermont center is running slow compared to others
To my knowledge Vermont has cleared up all ead cases till feb
They are currently doing last week of feb all prior last week are cleared up

I see somewhere a 21st Feb case is cleared
With this , I guess the march cases will begin next week only

Thanks guys for your comments. Unfortunately no news yet. Many get approved few days before the average timeline or just couple of days later. I see some cases alone it just drags on. Hope mine doesn't turn into one like that! Fingers crossed!

Any update?
I am seeing that in the month of May, hardly any EADs got approved from Vermont centre.
Nothing has moved for applications of Feb 22nd and further. Just 1 -2 applications of 27th feb are approved.
Is there any specific reason Vermont has stopped processing applications?

No updates yet. As you pointed out correctly, Vermont has come to a standstill I believe. I guess it has to do with the H1B cases. USCIS even issued a notice that Vermont received so many H1b cases that some of them have been transferred to California. Hopefully ours get picked up this week or next!

Thats sad!
Mine is in March and i have job offers in hand.
Not sure for how long will the companies wait for the approvals. The way it was going i was expecting it to come by 12th May and now i am not even sure if it will come in May.
California centre's even 26th - 27th March cases are getting approved.

Now for how long we will have to wait?
Is there no way to expedite the process?

Oh just now one 23rd Feb case got approval. I am assuming you should also get today.
And hope so they now clear all Feb and start March soon and clear the backlogs.

wondering if anyone has any insight how long USCIS take to post EAD card after they order the card. Mine was approved on May 18 and they ordered the card but no updates on if they have posted on my address. Wondering if someone can give high level estimate.

Normally it comes within a week. So in your case you should get the card by 25th May.

@udayshankar118, @rambo06: guys a question. So my case status changed to 'new card production ordered' on Friday. Today it changed to case approved. Does it normally happen that way? What is the next update expected?

My case status is Approved status

Dont rely on the status.. They dont update it very regularly. Normally if the status changes to Card Mailed to me then you should get the card in the next 2 days. But often they dont change the status and so it's better to call them and get your tracking nbr.

They do not give the tracking number at all. I did not get one. Case changed to approved and said mailed the approval notice. Does it have dates on it?
Or should we wait till we get cards? All employer needs is work authorization approval and dates to go with it.

USPS lost our mail!!! F*cking idiots. It was sent as a priority mail, those fat f*ckers couldn't climb 1 storey, instead left a notice in the mailbox even though we were at home. Now when we went to Post office, they say they can't locate the mail. Called USCIS, since it's not their mistake, they won't do anything and we need to apply for replacement just like a renewal application paying $410 and have to wait 90 days

@xXiXx
Can you tell what kind of priority mail was it ? does it requires the signature ? I might be traveling when my card comes . Any idea ?
