@houseinquiries: I raised an expedite request..waiting for response from USCIS.

How did you raise an expedite request. How many days after submission did you raise the SR

My lawyer called up uscis to raise an expedite request under financial loss criteria. This was on 75th day,uscis has not asked for any documentation yet.

Reached out to local congressman and they updated me that my expedite request has been denied. Not sure what can help my case. My current ead has expired and my employer can wait for another week max. Any suggestions?

Any updates on your cases. did they accept your request? Do you have your own Business or what was the criteria.. I mean on what lines did your lawyer accept to do the expedite request. I am also thinking to expedited the process as USCIS took 9 months to approve H1 B extension because of which i did not have the 180 days time gap to apply for my H4 renewal.

They rejected my expedite request. My lawyer had filed on the basis on financial loss to employer due to my absence at work. However,they still rejected saying it is not considered as a severe financial loss criteria. Contacted local congressman, but they also received the same response.

Did you raise a SR again...any response on the timing. is your file assigned to officer?

@divideby7 I raised a SR which was closed on 22nd nov,saying a response was sent. I did not receive any email, so waiting for a letter in mail

Congratulations, Mine is also Cos + H4 EAD and dont know when it will be accepted, On USCIS it shows they are still processing March 2016 applications.
