My case is still pending too with received date 06/07 and notice date 06/12. This is extension. When I first applied, it only took 75 days to get approved (including RFE).

I just expedited my case and will keep you updated. You please also keep me updated. Good luck for both of us.

May I ask how did you expedite the case? by calling USCIS or through congressman? Please keep me posted. I am also in the same boat and need EAD soon to keep my current job. Thanks.

Hi,
Call the uscis customer service number and say you want to expedite your case. They will let you choose only one category out of their categories in order to expedite your case. You will receive a response in 5 days in mail or email about their decision. This is the confusion part, and I tell you why as follows:

1. I did the process long time ago and received a letter within 5 days to let me fax them additional supporting documents. Then, I received a response after I faxed the documents, stating that I was not qualified for the expedition. However, my case did get approved soon. Do not know if it was because of the expedition request or not.

2. This time I received a letter in 5 days, stating my request is adjudicated and will receive a decision within 45 days. It seems like they accepted my request. However, who knows. I work in a healthcare area and shortage everywhere in USA. That may be the reason they accepted my case. Again, who knows.

I never did the congressman process so do not know if that works or not.

My employer has to put me on leave if I cannot have my case approved before expiration date.

Most of people choose severe financial loss to company and yourself. They did not ask me additional documentation this time.

I did not raise any request or call the m for expedite process. It was approved although I was preparing to raise the request next week or so .

i applied on may 11th and still haven't received my renewal....any thoughts

1. I wanted to have your guys updated about my case. After I requested expedited process, my h4 extension approved on the same day after I requested the expedited process. But, the uscis online case status still shows "case received" today. I knew I was approved because I received the notice in mail a couple of days after.

2. For my h4 ead extension, I received the rfe the same day after I requested the expedited process. The rfe stated that I did not include my photos. But, I did send my photos. Anyway, I sent my photos immediately. I requested the expedited process again after uscis received my rfe response. My h4 ead got approved on the same day after I requested the expedited process.

So, in summary, 1. the expedited process does work if you situations truly meets some of the criteria by uscis. My cases approved on the same day after I requested the expedited process. 2. if you concurrently file your cases, please organize your cases carefully. I believe uscis messed up my cases and lost photos. That is why I received my rfe for photos.

Can anyone expedite their case. Mine is beyond four months now. People who applied before be already received their cards. Can I call uscis and tell them to expedite the case.

Check my previous posts under this topic. Yes, if you meet one of criteria by uscis. I picked up 3 criteria: financial loss to my companies. My hospitals crazy about my working for them; My patients cried on the phone asking me to take care of them.

Do we have to submit any documents related to the criteria or just calling uscis and speaking to them stating above three scenarios ?

Just call first. The representative will ask you to choose criteria which meet your situations. There are about 10 criteria. Then, within 5 days, uscis will respond you with mail or email to deny your expedition, to accept your expedition, or to ask you for additional documents before making a decision if they accept your expedition request. I picked up financial loss to my company, uscis error, and humanitarian. Good luck.

after the approval email , I got approval notice in week and next week I got the EAD card , it took me less than 2 weeks for me to be precise 10 days.
