Hi, f2a485
I noticed that uscis did not request for RFE for your case and it looks like your 130 is already approved (congratulations by the way). I was wonderful if you had prepared your applications differently. Thank you!

When I filed 485 my 130 was still pending. About a week after filing 485, my 130 was transferred from VSC to NSC, then 10 days after the transfer, my 130 was approved. When I filed my 485, under the eligibility section, I checked part h of the form and wrote PRIORITY DATE CURRENT AND I-130 PENDING.
I also wrote a letter explaining that the F2A category was current thereby making a visa immediately available for my category and to the letter I attached a copy of the visa bulletin that shows that F2A was current and also attached a receipt copy of my pending I-130. So far so good no RFE and interview is scheduled for 10/09......

Hi
What happened to the interview date. You removed it from the list?

sorry dont know what happened. I probably deleted it without knowing. Interview went well, less than 5 mins and approved on the spot. It took us more time to go through the security than the actual interview itself.

Thanks JoeBlack36, you started the good news at the phlly FO. It went really well, I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant IO, she was a young African lady in her late 20s I think and really gorgeous. Arrived at 1:45 pm for a 2:30 pm interview. Was finally called at 3:15 pm. IO informed us that due to the change in location people have been showing up late bc they had to go to old location (callowhill) first only to find out that they are now located in univ square. So that has been causing interviews to back up. My wife is heavily pregnant, after swearing us, IO asked my wife that when is she due, she responded that in December, IO said congratulations. I was the petitioner and was asked only one thing, to present my GC.
She then mentioned that 130 had been approved. Pulled the I-485 form and confirmed all my wife's information, asked all the Yes/No questions and after that she said we are set and will be receiving card in 2-6 wks. The only other document she asked was my wife BC, since she said she couldn't find one in her file, we gave her a copy. We told her that we will be travelling out of the country soon and asked if she could stamp the passport, she said she had no problem doing that but she has to check with her supervisor first. She called and supervisor told her to go into the system and approve us before she can stamp the passport. She submitted our case for approval and told us that our case has been approved in the system, and then stamped the passport. She escorted us back to the hallway and said bye. By the time we arrived at the car, status update was already showing CPO. To be honest, our case was clear cut one but I did not expect the interview to be that straight forward.
Background: Been married for 5 yrs and 7 months, have one kid together and another one on the way, bought a house together, have life insurance, health, dental, vision, auto, home owners insurances and all types of bill one can possibly think of.......... I brought a suit

f2a485 nice to hear you both had a successful interview and got approved on spot!! Not surprised that people got late to the interview, if they don't get notified that the location has changed. That would happen to me too, if my lawyer would not have gotten the notice!! At least the Philly IO does not put any obstacle to get the GC!! Once again, congratulation to both of you!!!

Congratulations! I was going to ask you about the interview location but you already had a conversation with Joeblack. I'm glad that it is at the same location as mine. I was worried for a while.

Thanks you guys and @ SLSC good luck with your upcoming interview. The guys over there at the philly office are kool.
At least on the interview day, I sat in the waiting area for over an hour but did not smell any tension:)) You should be find so long as your papers are in order and there are no issues or red flag with your case.
