On July 14th I called customer service cause it had been 56 days and I hadn't received the biometrics notice, and the representative filed a service request for my case and told me to wait up to 45 days to get a reply. On July 27th (13 days later) I received a reply from them along with a "copy" of the biometrics notice they supposedly sent on June 1st which requested me to go take my fingerprints taken on June 19th. So basically "I missed the appointment" when in reality I had never received that notice. Anyhow, I called customer service again and a lady told me to just wait for them to give me another date.

So I decided to go personally to the office the next day and see if I could just walk in and get my fingerprints done. Well, I couldn't. I explained the guy what had happened and he basically told me that it could have just gotten lost in the mail and that I had to mail that notice and request a reschedule. I ask the guy if they couldn't just give me another appointment there and he said NO, I had to mail it and wait for a reply.

Funny thing is, I ask this dude if there was a post office nearby and as it turned out, there was a post office right across the street! So I had to go across the street, and mail the letter to be delivered to the building in front. RIDICULOUS!

This bureaucratic BS is so frustrating, specially cause they're so incompetent and then punish you by making you wait whatever they feel like making you wait. Anyways, I'm still waiting. =(
