rajeev, did you request expedition from uscis or this was by itself. my wife is traveling mid feb & I am have the same concern as yours.

No. I did not request expedition. I saw a soft LUD on 1/13 and another one on 1/14 and I got the mail on 1/15 just hours before her departure. When I got the AP in hand, it was approved on 1/13 itself.
