My fingerprints were "not able to be processed" the first time, so I had to go back and have them redone 2 weeks later. I think that caused the delay. I was supposed to fly home for a wedding yesterday, but I had to cancel the trip.

How long did it take from the notice date to the FP date?

Hello, pt2515! I was told, in a notice dated March 2, 2010, to show up at UCSIS Elizabeth, NJ on 16 March - which I did. Then I received a notice, dated 18 March, that the FBI had been "unable to process my fingerprints", so I had to go back and do them over on 8 April. I was supposed to travel to the UK (as indicated on my I-131, submitted on 2 February) on 13 May, but no dice.... However, my status has now changed from "initial review" to "post-decision action", and a further notice was apparently sent on 14 May. In the meantime my family reunion in Wales is happening without me. Best of luck, Liz
