Here is my RFE:
Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations, part 204.5 (h)(2), states in part:
“Extrordinary ability means ………who has risen to the very top of the field of endeavor.” Your documentation fails to sufficiently show that you have risen to the top of your field of endeavor. Therefore, you must submit detailed additional evidence that clearly demonstrates that you have sustained national or international acclaim and that your achievements have been recognized as extraordinary by others in the field.
If the evidence includes awards or prizes, explain the reputation of the organization granting the award, the significance of the award, and the criteria used to select the recipient.
If the evidence includes memberships in associations in the field, submit evidence of the membership criteria.
If the evidence includes published material about your work, it must clearly indicate that the work is significant. An unevaluated listing in a subject matter index or footnote, or a reference to the work without evaluation is insufficient.
If the evidence includes participation as a judge of the work of others in the field, explain the criteria for selection as a panelist, reviewer, etc.
If the evidence includes original scientific, scholarly, athletic or business-related contributions, submit evidence of the importance of such contributions to the field. Evidence that those outside of your circle of colleagues and acquaintance consider the work is especially valuable.
If the evidence includes authorship of scholarly articles, explain the significance of the publications in which they appeared.
I am looking for some good help in responding to these queries. I had focused on the last three of the evidences when I filed my petition. Authorship in 26 peer reviewed articles, 23 as first author, reviewer (3) and editorial board member (2) for some of the best journals in the field, and 5 letters of recom about the contribution in the field.
