Employer received the approval notice today. Best of luck to everyone. I am hoping yours goes through very soon as well.

Hi,
can you let me know if online filing can be done for all cases or only for specific cases?

Thank you.

Can you also confirm if your priority date 28 Feb 2003 is correct? I noticed that you had your PERM approved on 22 Oct 2009.

Hi,

Yes, online filing can be done in all cases as far as I know as thats what the company that has offered me a job told me.

Yes the priority date is correct. I worked for a company for 7 years. They had started my green card process and labor got approved in 2006-2007 after a huge delay. Then they appied for I140 but due to economy was let go. So joined this new company. Worked for them for 3 months. Meanwhile old companies I140 went through. Now on H4 visa. Waiting for green card process to go through.

So everything that I had up there is valid:-)

Thanks,

Thank you for the quick response.

I had one more question. Under PERM, your I-140 has to be filed within 6 months after your labor is approved. Was this restriction not there, during that time?

Hi again,

Well when my Labor was approved and at that time, PERM was not in place as much and this rule was not there. It took me nearly 2-3 to get over Labor Cert itself with the old company. The backlog was so bad. Man its been a long long wait.
