No, I am not filing a new I-485.
My lawyer interfiled the I-140 with the existing I-485 case.

Does it mean.. he applied for this 140 and along with that application he also sent your
existing 140 and thats why you got the current 140 approval with older 140 date ?

Yes, my lawyer sent a copy of the old I-140's approval notice when she applied for the new I-140 and requested the porting of the old PD
