Discuss zizigooloo's I-140 USCIS Case

Can you kindly tell me how long does it take the RFE to physically arrive by mail from USCIS? Mine was issued on 9 th April but I have not received the mail yet. So I was wondering how long could it take. Thanks.

Hi Niro, I received update on website that REF issued on Jan. 29 and My attorney received the letter on Feb. 5th.
but I heard very different from other cases. I think it may takes 1-2 weeks.

my case was pretty strong but my lawyer just screwed up
phd from US, 12 recom letter from industry and university, 8 years work exp (6years with MS+2 years phd), 3 journal reviewer, 8 patent filed (pending), 4 first author publication , high salary current job, name mentioned in media, 2 awards during phd, honor membership.
my weakness was very low citation 1, but very good independ recommendation letterthat my lawyer simply could defend my case but she didn't. I haven't recived the denial letter yet to see the reason. will share when I recived it.
I am looking for new lawyer to re-apply. any suggestion for strong lawyer?

hi, zizigooloo, what's the immigration officer's # for your RFE? It seems NS C cares about citation a lot.

I applied through my employer and our law firm is Pearl Law group, but I'm not sure if they accept individual applications.
Friend of mine did his NIW with this lawyer and his application got approved without any RFE: Shane Parker, Louisville KY
