Hi,

Your 140 case is 125 days in pending as of today and mine is 133.
I have had colleagues, who got theirs approved in around 115 days.

And so as some cases in Tracker.

Not sure, what is going on- have you any idea ?

Hi Sonata,
approval time depends on many factors and fluctuates a lot. USCIS accumulated some backlog in March, but I think April and May are going a little better. Typically, non-concurrent applications, like yours, get approved faster than concurrent applications, like mine. In my case I expect a decision to come within one and a half month. In your case I honestly expect a decision to be taken soon, if things don't slow down again... Hang in there, we'll make it!

Thank you danieleita. I hope so.

Around 11:30 pm USCIS usually sends out an automated Text, Email confirmation for those who have subscribed to alerts for case status changes on their Case Track ID. Waiting anxiously every night to see when its approved.

I am worried as I may need adequate time for my Attorney to do an interfiling of my I485 with this EB2 I-140 which is porting the prior EB3 I140 date. Hearing that in Aug they will Move EB2/India to mid, 2008. In that case I will be current and never want to miss the window- it's a painful 11 years of wait already. But thinking to wait another week. Two at the worst and then request for a premium upgrade for 140.

No news at all... I see other EB2 applications submitted before mine which are still pending. I guess I'll have to wait at least another month before having any update.

Daniele,
Take a look at this:
http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/discuss/i140/23815
For example, assuming that the process is linear, they should get to my application (~6/20) at the end of june....

Also, it looks like the nebraka center is way ahead than the texas center....

Guys got an rfe on my pp which is current for future employment. Got an RFE issued today so dont know the content but can someone share there views. have a masters from australia and the company makes more then enough in profit so am confused the reason for RFE. Share

RFE is often about confirming that you are still employed with the company. If that's the case it is usually easily resolved in a couple of extra weeks. Sometimes it's about the time you worked, which has a minimum of x years (not sure) and cannot account for the time spent in academia. However there's form to justify that the skills you learnt are necessary for the job, which kind of waives the time requirement. It's not very clear to me either, so take it a grain of salt. The national interest could also be questioned and that could be a real headache.
Good luck and keep us updated.

Thanks for prompt reply. In my case it is for future employment as im porting from eb3 to eb2.Also i have masters degree from australia which has been evaluated. I am hoping they have not issued for it as it has been evaluated by edge. The company is making enough profit. So i am confused. Notmally how many days does it take for us to get the details. Doesnt the attorney get an email regarding the details

I don't know about the degree evaluation, but it sounds that you don't have a particularly plain case, so the RFE could be about just anything. The cases I listed are the ones i read about most often. The attorney receives a fax (at least in my previous cases, which were both premium processing, so it might be a different protocol); I assume that they might receive an actual paper envelope after a few days. Have you contacted your attorney about it? You can also call USCIS, but i doubt they'll be able to read you the RFE.

Yes i just did. they did recieve the RFE they asking in particular if i completed my Degree before 2007 which i did in 1996 june before coming to usa in 1997 december. They should be knowing that. i am surprised they asked me that but am actually waiting on the rfe being emaield to me too. They havent questioned the evaluation just the completion date which im shocked but gurus share insight

I think it's great if it's something that you can easily prove with a certificate. It means that everything else is good and they'll approve it as soon as they receive the RFE response. Hang in there an other couple of weeks! Good luck!

About 7 months... :(
I read that it's a good idea to send the I-485 together with a proof of employment to minimize the risk of more RFE. Just a suggestion...
