Discuss ash2015's I-140 USCIS Case

May i know what type of visa u r holding? h1 or L1?
I think h1 holder's 140 approvals are taking longer.

I think nebraska is running slow compare to taxes service center, you should have got response by now, What do you think?

Got RFE today. waiting for the details

Did you get to know the RFE details? I was wondering how long does it take to get the details. We got an RFE on Friday.

On Sept 24 i saw my RFE notification in USCIS site. My attorney confirmed that they received the notice by Oct 5.
Still waiting for my attorney to provide details on the RFE. As it is I140 they may respond without needing more details from me. But i did ask them to share the RFE query.

Hi ash2015, Did you respond to the RFE? What was the reason for the RFE? I am also in similar situation to you.

Not yet. I am waiting for an update from attorney. PD in april has 25 RFEs for I-140 from Nebraska Service center. I think USCIS is moving the pending cases to RFE so that the SLA is maintained. Check mycasetracker.

Sorry rg2015. I was not able to respond to you. Got busy in getting the related artifacts for my RFE. Now RFE response filed and it is a month over. No updates from USCIS. Hope you are able to proceed with your response as well.

What was the RFE for ? and would you please help in terms of response.

RFE was to provide more evidences on offshore managerial role. Attorney insisted to provide degree certificates for direct, indirect subordinates, payslips, more detailed org chart and responsibilities of subordinates, role of people whom i reported and what difference it makes with my role. Hope this helps

Can you please suggest if any managerial evidences were submitted by our attorney while filing the case ? Or is it that attorney is asking u to provide evidences only when RFE has come up ?

Every attorney prepares the documents differently. They do ask for evidences before filing the case. I-140 RFE - you will not get the document. So we may not know what USCIS requests as evidence. Only attorney decides what need to be sent. Hope this helps.

Hi ash. Need a favor. i also got the same rfe. Did you provide the degree certificates, pay slips of direct,indirect subordinates from both India and US? In my case they are asking from both the locations.

My RFE was specific to offshore position. Hope this helps
