Hi , As per the uscis website , I see that for regular processing all applications go to Texas Post box. Any idea how does it get routed to appropriate service center ? Is it random or based on the residence state

Thats a good question holla11, but I have no idea about it. Texas was my service center according to their website and I did send everything to Texas, but USCIS send it to Nebraska instead and I received a email confirmation from them. So I have no idea why this happened.

Thank you ks1979 . May I ask which state are you from ? I am from Utah and hoping that it would go to Nebraska , since Texas service center takes long time to process NIW cases these days .

holla11 it will go to NE if you are living in one of the NE states. even though all regular applications get mailed to TX, NE states will still go to NE. I had the same question in this forum, but did not get clear replies, but my lawyer mailed application to TX and my receipt number was LIN******.
