Looks weird. How did you apply for 485 in Sept-2008 with a priority date of 02-Dec-2004. EB2 India, was not current at that time. Can you verify if all your entries are right?

Congratulations! This is great news...but it is a little surprising that you were approved on 11-Dec-2008! The PD hasn't been current for FY 2009 yet - something's not adding up. You might want to check with you lawyer about this...read something about this on murthy.com a while back.

Anyways, enjoy your GC. And Happy New Year!

Congrats on your approval! I have a question, since it would help me judge the chances for my approval.

Given your notice date was was not within the processing times posted by TSC when your case was approved but your PD was, it sounds like TSC has a way of pulling out cases with current priority dates even when they have not been processed yet. Is that your understanding? I am in a situation where my priority date is becoming current next month, but my 1-485 receipt/ notce date is sitll not within TSC's processing timeframes. I am just workked that they may not eb abel to open my case in time and my PD may retrogress soon.

Thank you very much for any views
