Have you received your receipt notice. I also applied on June 1st but no update yet. Checks are also not cacshed.
Just wanted to know if we are in a same boat.

How come your fingerprinting came so late..

Probably is because USCIS didn't open my I-485 package until September and when I rec'd my receipt, it is already 3 months since I sent my package. The Fingerprint appt was scheduled a month after I rec'd my recipt notice.
