Crap guys yaar, i guess you were right they havent applied CC on our cases, else there is no chance that they are waiting for visa on our cases, I called up NVC today and they said they dont have my reciept number in their system, which means USCIS never requested a visa :(

Thats unfortunate, How did you call up NVC ? Did you tell your attorney abt it or you planning a infopass/senator inquiry

Got this number from their site , just have ur receipt number ready and call them up at 603 334 0700, i guess they are open till midnight EST. As you have planned i should also do a senator enquiry once the processing time crosses out receipt date else they will still give us the crap that you are still under processing time.

Buddy just in case you are not aware the TSC processing time has moved to Nov 1 2011. Do you have any idea how to raise a senator enquiry ?

Yeah, just saw. Probably I will get documents ready for senator inquiry. I am based in NJ. My attorney hasn't heard anything about the inquiry they made with USCIS

Did you get any response from the Ombdusman/Senator/SR inquiry? Also did you see any LUD on your I140 application before 485 was approved?

First yes i got a soft LUD on my I140 case before 2 days, so hang in there i guess if its the same pattern u should also get the approval within a week.

Ya i got a response from senator saying there are no visas for India, even though i explained to them abt cross chargeability. Anyway no complains as i have crossed the hurdle and EBUPDATE guys replied today that my cases are approved.

Thank you so much for the information. I got a soft LUD on my 140 on 06/07. already 4 days since the LUD. keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. If you don't mind, can you please share when you got the soft lud on your 140?

Even i got the soft LUD on 06/07(same time as i guess both our I140's were approved on 02/17). Just call the ombdusman and ask your request staus. Am not sure Senator enquiry would do good, atleast not in my case as most of the ppl are not aware of this cross chargeability.
