Hi ssvwed,
No, we have not received any receipt no. yet. Yes, I have called NSC couple of times, but all I get to hear that our data is not in the system.
Were you able to find out from your bank if the checks have been encashed. In our case, the our attorney is yet to confirm from his bank whether checks have been encashed. Thanks for your comment!

Hi gogreen39 ,
My 485 was received on June08 by NSC and still no news and even the checks are not cashed.
It seems like, there are still many 06/07~06/20 filers without receipts.
Will USCIS issue more receipts next week, should we keep waiting or Do you think it is a good idea to submit again?
We are in the same boat, let's discuss that.

Hi mrcmic,
You mentioned there are still many 06/07 to 06/20 filers without receipt, where did you find them ? I don't find many on trackitt, we should also click on the username and see when did they last login. Maybe they have not updated. Resubmitting is 2 types : just filing copies of already submitted application as a reminder or resubmitting with new original signatures and new checks, which is you lawyer suggesting?
They have already started receipting end of June, is your case of porting of PD or something different than straightforward case? maybe such cases go for review before they do data entry and encash checks. Please let me know, thanks!

Hi gogreen39,
My original EB3 PD is July, 2005 and then new EB2 PD is Aug, 2006.
The lawyer claims the old PD with the new EB2 category. I am not sure if this PD porting review is the reason for the delay because I knew some june filers with the PD porting already got receipt two weeks ago.
I think for the new submission, new check and original signature is necessary because there is no guarantee that old package was lost or not.
Aslo I need to remind you that cancel any check will be very dangerous per I131 or I765 applciation instruction since USCIS may invaid any issued document. That means submit second time will need to pay all the fee again and the first packge checks can still be cashed.
I saw there are some June 15 to June 20 cases still pending, but certainly there are just a few cases left before June 15.
I may plan to resubmit next week but not sure should I wait longer?
Any option for longer waiting

Thanks, mrcmic!
Yes, we should not cancel the checks. The USCIS Mailroom procedure says if mailroom clerk is not sure then file goes for File review and then after File review if ok, it goes for CIS checks and then data entry, where checks are encashed and receipt notice generated. If not ok, it goes for Rejection norice data entry. Please let me know if you decide to resubmit. My lawyer says to wait for some more time.

gogreen39,
I remember the July VB was released June 13, Wed, which means for the package delviered on June08(mine) or June11(yours), USCIS may review the PD porting at June13 or June14 time frame and suddently everyone is current and no need to do the review anymore. Then who knows where they put these cases to since no more need to do the review, they may just hold it to july category or they may simply put it into some boxes and assuming will process it later.
I also know the other PD porting case which already got the receipt was submitted on June12 and means when they opened it, the july VB was really out.

Hi mrcmic,
My appln was submitted bu USPS to NSC at the PO BOX 87485 Lincoln address, which is in the 485 instructions, in the application itself.
I got copy of the return receipt being signed by NSC person.
Yes, they might have sent our cases for review for PD porting and it might be lying on that officers table only. We may decide to resubmit by end of coming week, if nothing turns up. Please let me know any updates on your case, thanks!

gogreen39,
We will also resubmit by the end of next week if no receipt or check not cashed.
By the way, we suppose to use the same old fee, right?

According to the follow, I485, I131 and I765 are all old fee before Aug/17,

http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/EBFAQ1.pdf

Q7: Which fees apply to I-765 and I-131 applications associated with AOS applications filed on or after July 30th under the July Bulletin?
A7. The fee of $180 for Forms I-765 and the fee of $170 for Form I-131 will remain in effect for those aliens eligible to file an employment-based adjustment of status application pursuant to July Visa Bulletin No. 107. These fees will remain in effect for all such applications filed between July 17 – August 17, 2007.

Q9: Will customers eligible to file adjustment applications under July Visa Bulletin No. 107 have the option to pay the NEW filings fees in connection with adjustment applications filed on or after July 30, 2007 and on or before August 17, 2007?
A9. No, customers will not have the option of paying the new filing fees for adjustment applications. USCIS has determined that aliens in employment-based categories filing applications pursuant to July Visa Bulletin No. 107 should be subject to the pre-July 30, 2007 fees as that fee schedule would have applied had aliens been allowed to file throughout the month of July.

Did you claim the PD porting again this time? also did you just file by yourself or still through the lawyer?
