Are you sure USCIS recieved it on 02/29 ? That means your application will be rejected. You had become current only on 03/01as per your PD and applications can reach only on or after 03/01.Probably 02/29 was your mailing date.

No, Trackitt was not allowing me to enter a future date yesterday as 1st March 2012. I corrected it now as the application got received today.

Does the application need some specific information to receive email notification from the USCIS lockbox ?

Looks like G-1145 ( http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/g-1145.pdf ) needs to be filed along with 485 application. looks like my attorney did not file it either.

I appreciate you putting timely comments about the email notification. now this benefits people like me (who did not sign-up for such notifications) as I could also safely assume that my receipt date is 03/06 as we filed on the same day. Keep up the good work.

Yes, G1145 is the form. I explicitly added that to the set of forms. However, all it means is that application is picked up at the drop box and a case no is assigned to it. Once this is done, the next step is the receipt notice. If you check gets cashed out, that would indicate the receipt notice is on the way. I think it might happen by end of this week or next week

From there on, its just queue and wait.. I also use the "watch case" feature of trackitt and it helps me keep updated about others..

congrats on getting AP approved. You are the 1st in the march filer to announce this.Once again thanks for keeping everybody posted.

Thanks for that Gautha... I was checking the tracker and most folks get EAD and AP together.. lets hope the EAD mail also follows through..

Have you been for finger printing yet? April 18th is your date right? Trying to establish if finger printing and EAD/AP rppaovals are linked. Thanks in advance for your reply.
